The short version: Gatey detects SSH events locally on your Mac. We collect only what's needed to manage your license — a hashed device identifier, your Mac's name, and your license key. We don't sell your data. We don't track usage.
Gatey is a macOS menu bar application developed and operated by Oovelo ("we", "us", "our"). For privacy inquiries, contact us at hello@oovelo.com.

For users in the European Economic Area, we process personal data on the following legal bases:
License activation records are kept for as long as your license is active. When you deactivate your license, the activation record is removed from our license server. If you have not used the service for 3 years, we will delete your data.
We do not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or any other third-party data collection in the app.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information — though we do not sell it.
Gatey is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the app or on this page. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.

라이선스 활성화 기록은 라이선스가 유효한 동안 보관합니다. 앱 내에서 라이선스를 비활성화하면 서버의 활성화 기록이 삭제됩니다. 서비스를 3년 이상 이용하지 않은 경우 해당 데이터를 파기합니다.
앱 내에 광고 네트워크, 분석 SDK, 또는 그 외 제3자 데이터 수집 수단은 사용하지 않습니다.
